ANOTHER PERSON WAS KILLED TUESDAY MORNING IN A CRASH INVOLVING THEIRÂ VEHICLE AND A BRIGHTLINE TRAIN. According to witnesses, the man drove through the crossing gates while they were already lowered before being struck by the oncoming train.
The car was dragged several blocks before the Brightline train was able to come to a stop. No one on board the train was injured.
Broward Sheriff's Office traffic homicide detectives are investigating the crash.
