INDIAN RIVER COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ANSWER OUR CALL!

We spoke to the IRC Commissioners last week and asked them to contact the new Secretary of the FL Department of Transportation and invite him to our region to see exactly what the dangers will be to our communities and the need for regulations governing AAF trains. We’re pleased to see that Secretary Thibaut has invited Commission Chairman Solari to meet with him in Tallahassee. We hope this is the beginning of Making Them Safe!

VIDEO THAT WORKS!

We had a video malfunction on our last edition of the TWT – I’ve attached a link that should work on most computers and devices. This will give you the feeling of the trains going about 60 – 70 mph. They will go 110 mph through our communities! And we know that at 110 mph – Quiet Zones are out of the question. Think how dangerous it would be to not have any warning!

Our friend in Hollywood, FL also sent the second video. It’s not the best quality because it’s at night and none of us our expert cell phone videographers (!) but you’ll be able to see what happens and what happens is the train has mechanical or track issues and ends up blocking the intersection for an hour.

See the second video here.

If you know anyone who lives in Phase 1 of this nightmare who would like to share their AAF trains stories and concerns – please tell them to contact us through the Train Wreck Times or on our Facebook Page.
