Regarding guest columnist Phil Brown's piece on All Aboard Florida, I see that it wasn't long before Brown made reference to the Washington Economics Group's projected benefits to the All Aboard Florida rail project.

We should not forget that the report from the Washington Economics Group, impressive as the name may sound, was paid for by All Aboard Florida. So basically their whole economic report was a glorified, press release, camouflaged into looking like an in-depth factual report.

I'm sure that if I paid the Washington Economics Group enough money, they would tout anything that I wanted the public to believe.

Possibly, Brown's position would be different if 50 trains a day were stopping his daily commute and hindering the emergency vehicles in his town.
