A DRIVER'S WRONG TURN LED TO A TRAIN CRASH WEDNESDAY MORNING IN HALLANDALE BEACH, FLORIDA. Fortunately, the driver had left her car long before the train approached and pushed the vehicle about 500 feet before coming to a stop.
Driver Margarita Hall said had meant to turn onto Dixie Highway before accidentally driving onto the railroad tracks.
The Hallandale Beach Fire Rescue reported that Ms. Hall proceeded to call 911 in which the dispatcher informed her that a train was coming.
All 28 passengers who were aboard the Brightline train were not injured.
