IN THE FIRST 2 1/2 MONTHS OF OPERATION, BRIGHTLINE COLLECTED $663,700 IN TICKET REVENUE, according to financial documents that were released Friday. Brightline declares the ridership "exceeded expectations" despite the controversies over safety and eight fatalities that have occurred. In this document, Brightline has also addressed their plans to extend their tracks from Orlando to Tampa extension.
