Governor DeSantis said in his State of the State Address, “be bold in defending the safety of our communities.” Now he must heed his own words and be bold in saving the lives of residents of the Treasure and Space Coasts.
We now have proof that Florida’s passenger rail systems are the deadliest in the country; Virgin Trains US speed trains are deadly in their own right with eighteen people killed on their tracks in less than 2 years; and we now know there are NO REGULATIONS in Florida governing trains going 80 – 125 mph.
Governor DeSantis must be bold and halt all development of Virgin Trains’ US second phase where the trains will go 110 mph through densely populated communities until he can assure all of the residents of Florida the trains are safe!
